Thank You

When's the last time you send out a real thank you to your customers?

A simple thank you note is one of the most overlooked or forgotten way to show you personally care about your customers. Sending a client a personalized thank you gives a strong impression that you do care for their business. It helps reduce customer remorse and the feeling that they're nothing more than just a number to your institution. Best of all, writing a thank you can build customer referrals.

Use your institution's thank you stationary and write a short message. It can be just a few words like "Thank you for becoming a part of ABC Bank" or "We appreciate you" and a signature. You could even include a business card if you feel that's important. The key is to actually write it, not use your computer have hundreds of impersonal thank you's printed out. The kind of thank you's people appreciate are the ones you actually take the time to write.

The best reason to take this extra step is that this so overlooked anymore that it's just another thing that will set you apart from the rest.

Until next time,

Gail
